Non Conformities (NC) are often a source of grief during audits. But fear not. In may cases minor non conformities do not mean an automatic failing of your audit event. If you have audit controls that your audit decides are not met to satifcation then the solution to gain confirmity is simple. Write down a remediation plan and document a process to reach conformity with the control criteria.
A non conformity remediation plan is simple. It will consist of the framework item that has not met satisfactory implementation, the reason why, along with a note or plan of action to resolve the the issues. Be sure to include the specific activities that will resolve the issue along with the Owner of the plan and a deadline by with the item will be resolved by.
